In any inclusive workplace, a male line manager has a dual role: leading his team effectively to meet the organisation’s goals, and being a male ally to women at all levels. What does male allyship look like within this context, and what actions — from calling out micro-aggressions to looking out for imposter feelings in female co-workers — will make the biggest positive different to tech women working in male dominated teams or organisations?

Join this discussion as we explore the idea of conscious leadership and the future of male allyship in the tech universe.

Do you think ‘leadership’ when you think about your next promotion? Forward-looking organisations know that gender-balanced leadership teams are synonymous with business success, so it’s time for you to be part of that change, hone your leadership skills and set your sights on those big, bold senior roles.

Join us for this thought-provoking discussion with three female executives from QVC, sharing how they’ve successfully worked their way into Vice President positions, and how you can be the leader of your own career.

Despite this growing demand for tech talent, software engineering still remains a male-dominated career choice with only 19% of the tech industry representing women, a gender gap that is exceedingly wide.
