Earning the reputation as the go to person for engineering safety and Atkins’ Risk & Safety Team Lead since 2019, Laura manages a team covering multiple programmes across the UK. She works with designers, operators and maintainers providing safety assurance for national multidisciplinary rail projects, and guides them through safety legislation. 

Alongside her industry defining job, Laura supports colleagues’ professional development and wellbeing through mentoring, the #IamRemarkable initiative and involvement in industry and women’s networks.
