Inspired by her father into the world of Transport & Logistics Laura has grown and developed into a fully equipped dynamic individual that strives to embrace the industry with passion and commitment. Laura has worked in different departments across the logistics function to develop her skills which has seen her relocate from Cheshire, to London and now currently in Nottingham. 

Through determination and a focus minded approach to demanding challenges, these have all seen her gain the knowledge and a skill set for managing a Transport Managers role in a strong unionised environment. This has showcased her ability to build relationships both internally and externally to adapt, empower and accomplish a significant change to the workforce practices by self-motivation & work ethic. 

She is an inspirational leader & mentor to the minority of the female workforce where she has executed her Transport Managers Certificate Professional Competence qualification whilst working through her Batchelor’s degree, She has also been involved in a HR recruitment campaign to encourage more young woman to join the industry.
